Molecular profile
Storage
A 15-amino-acid peptide from a gastric protein, and one of the most studied peptides in tissue-repair research.
BPC-157 is a synthetic pentadecapeptide (Gly-Glu-Pro-Pro-Pro-Gly-Lys-Pro-Ala-Asp-Asp-Ala-Gly-Leu-Val) whose sequence is taken from body protection compound, a protein found in human gastric juice. Unlike most short peptides it is notably stable in gastric acid, which is part of why it has been studied by several routes in animal models.
Preclinical research uses BPC-157 to study tendon, ligament, muscle and bone healing, protection of the gut lining, and blood-vessel growth. Mechanistic work looks at its effects on nitric-oxide signalling, growth-factor receptors such as VEGFR2, and fibroblast migration.
BPC-157 (Body Protection Compound-157) is a synthetic 15-amino-acid peptide whose sequence comes from a protein found in human gastric juice.
BPC-157 is studied in animal and cell models of tissue repair, including tendon, ligament, muscle and gut healing, and in research on blood-vessel growth (angiogenesis) and nitric-oxide signalling.
Every batch goes to an independent lab. The current batch was tested across three vials for purity (RP-HPLC), identity (LC-MS), net peptide content, endotoxins, heavy metals and sterility. Each batch's certificate of analysis is published on the lab results page.
Keep the sealed vial in the refrigerator at 36–46°F (2–8°C), dry and away from light. As a freeze-dried powder it tolerates room temperature for weeks, which is why it ships without ice. Once reconstituted, keep it refrigerated between uses. More in our guide, Do peptides need to be refrigerated?
BPC-157 comes as a lyophilized powder in 10mg and 20mg vials.
