What payment methods does Simms Research accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover credit and debit cards, plus Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Do I need crypto, Zelle, Cash App, or PayPal to order?
No. Every order is paid by card or mobile wallet at checkout. We do not accept cryptocurrency, Zelle, Cash App, or PayPal.

Are there fees for paying by card?
No. There is no surcharge on any payment method. The total shown at checkout is the amount charged.

How do I pay with Apple Pay or Google Pay?
The Apple Pay or Google Pay button appears at the top of checkout when your device supports it. Apple Pay works in Safari on iPhone, iPad, and Mac with a card in Apple Wallet. Google Pay works in Chrome and on Android with a card saved to your Google account. If you do not see a wallet button, you can always pay by card.

What will the charge look like on my statement?
Charges appear as SIMMSRESEARCH.COM on your card or bank statement.

When is my card charged?
Your card is charged when you place your order, and the order is confirmed right away. There is no waiting on a manual payment check before it ships.

Is my card information secure?
Yes. Card details are entered into an encrypted field hosted by our payment processor and go directly to it. Simms Research never sees or stores your full card number. Apple Pay and Google Pay send a one-time token instead of your card number.

Why was my card declined?
Most declines come from the card issuer. Check that the card number, expiration date, CVC, and billing address match your card, and approve the purchase if your bank sends a verification request. You can also try Apple Pay, Google Pay, or another card. If it still fails, email support@simmsresearch.com.
