Where to Buy Retatrutide in 2026
Retatrutide is not sold in pharmacies, so every buyer ends up at a research store, an overseas factory or a clinical trial. Here is what each vial size costs in 2026, which size to buy, and what a retatrutide certificate of analysis has to show.
Retatrutide is not on any pharmacy shelf. Eli Lilly is still in late-stage trials, so there is no prescription version, no branded pen and nothing a telehealth company can legitimately ship. Everyone searching for it ends up in one of three places: a US research-peptide store, an overseas factory, or a clinical trial.
Most people land on the first. That is where the choices actually differ: the same 60mg vial costs twice as much at some stores as at others, some stores publish a full lab panel for every batch and others post one old purity number, and the search results are crowded with “best vendor” pages that nobody independent wrote. This guide covers where retatrutide is sold, what each vial size costs, which size to buy, what a certificate of analysis has to show, how to spot a paid ranking, and how an order should arrive.
Where retatrutide is sold
US research-peptide stores sell retatrutide as a freeze-dried powder in single vials, labelled for laboratory use. The better ones ship within a day, test each production batch at an independent lab and publish the certificate on the product page. This is the route nearly every buyer takes, because it is the only one where someone else has already paid for the testing and the package shows up within the week.
Overseas factories sell the same powder in kits of ten vials, usually marked with nothing more than a short code. The kit price per milligram is lower than any US shelf, and that is the whole appeal. The buyer then carries everything a store would normally carry: weeks in transit, the chance of a customs hold, and the testing. A single independent test of one vial costs a few hundred dollars, so buyers on this route often join group tests, pooling vials from one batch and splitting the bill. Even then, a test proves what was in the vials that were tested. Fake kits do turn up on this route, which is why its regular buyers test every new kit instead of trusting the last result.
The third route is a Lilly clinical trial. Trials are listed publicly, screen participants for months, and give the study drug only at the trial site. Compounding pharmacies are not a fourth route: there is no approved retatrutide ingredient for them to work from, so a clinic or website advertising compounded retatrutide is selling something else under the name.
| Route | What arrives | Time to arrive | Who tests it | Who it suits |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| US research store | Single freeze-dried vials, 10mg to 60mg | 2 to 5 business days | The store, batch by batch, with the certificate published | Most researchers |
| Overseas factory or group buy | Kits of ten vials, often marked only with a code | Several weeks, plus customs | The buyer, at their own cost, or a group that splits the bill | Buyers ordering in bulk who test every kit |
| Clinical trial | Study drug given at a trial site | Months of screening and enrollment | Eli Lilly | People who qualify for an open Lilly study |
Whatever the route, the vial may not say “retatrutide”. Research stores print GLP-3, GLP-3 RT, Reta or RT on the label, which is why searches for “where to buy reta” lead to the same products. The naming is covered in What Is GLP-3 (Retatrutide)?.
Retatrutide prices in 2026
Across the main US research stores, shelf prices this month (before any discount code) fall in these ranges. Simms Research sells all four sizes.
| Vial size | Range across main US stores | Simms Research | Simms price per mg |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10mg | About $70 to $105 | $84 | $8.40 |
| 20mg | About $105 to $200 | $129 | $6.45 |
| 30mg | About $145 to $240 | $159 | $5.30 |
| 60mg | About $230 to $460 | $259 | $4.32 |
The price per milligram drops sharply as the vial grows. At Simms Research the 60mg vial works out to $4.32 per milligram, about half the $8.40 of a 10mg vial. Buying several vials lowers it again: the product page takes 10% off three or more vials and 15% off six or more, which puts a 60mg vial at $220.15 in a six-vial order, or $3.67 per milligram.
Two more numbers belong next to any shelf price. The first is shipping: Simms Research ships free by FedEx 2-Day on orders over $200, while American Peptides sets its free-shipping line at $300. The second is what the price buys in testing: how many vials from the batch went to the lab, and what they were tested for. The certificate section below shows what to look for.

Which retatrutide vial size to buy
The vial size decision comes down to one limit. Once water goes in, mixed retatrutide keeps for 28 days in the fridge, so the best value is the largest vial that will be used up within about four weeks of mixing. A bigger vial is only cheaper if it is finished before that window closes.
| Weekly amount | Vial used up within 28 days | Weekly doses in that vial | Cost per week |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2mg | 10mg | 5 | $16.80 |
| 4mg | 20mg | 5 | $25.80 |
| 8mg | 30mg | 3.75 | $42.40 |
| 9mg | 30mg | 3.3 | $47.70 |
| 12mg | 60mg | 5 | $51.80 |
The weekly amounts follow the steps used in Lilly’s trials; the full schedule, with the units to draw on an insulin syringe at each step, is in the retatrutide dosage guide. The pattern in the table holds at every step: the larger vial wins on cost as long as it runs out in time. At 4mg a week, two 10mg vials cost $168 against $129 for a single 20mg vial. At 12mg a week, one 60mg vial costs $59 less than two 30mg vials.
Smaller vials earn their place while the weekly amount is still climbing. Each step lasts about four weeks, so a 10mg or 20mg vial is finished at one amount before the next begins, with nothing left over to recalculate. Water volumes for each size are in How to Reconstitute Retatrutide, and the peptide calculator turns any vial and amount into syringe units.

What a retatrutide certificate of analysis must show
Before a vial is opened, the certificate of analysis is the only evidence of what is inside it. A useful retatrutide certificate answers seven questions, and the table sets each one against the current Simms Research batch.
| Field | What it should show | Simms Research, lot 2026-G460 |
|---|---|---|
| Identity | A mass spectrometry (LC-MS) result confirming retatrutide | Confirmed by LC-MS |
| Purity | HPLC purity of 99% or higher | 99.611% average |
| Net content | Measured milligrams at or above the label | 10.68mg in a 10mg vial, 7% over |
| Vials tested | More than one vial from the batch | 3 vials: 10.39mg, 10.74mg and 11.19mg |
| Endotoxins | A pass result | Pass |
| Heavy metals and sterility | Metals not detected, no microbial growth | Not detected; no growth |
| Lot and date | A lot number for the batch being sold, tested within months | Lot 2026-G460, July 16, 2026 |
Identity comes first because purity alone cannot do its job. An HPLC figure of 99% says the sample is almost entirely one compound, not which compound. Retatrutide has a molecular weight of 4,731 and the formula C221H342N46O68; a mass result that matches it is what separates a vial of retatrutide from a vial of tirzepatide, which weighs in near 4,814, or from something cheaper. A certificate with a purity number and no mass result leaves that question open.
Net content decides whether a measured dose is the dose. A vial 10% under its label makes every draw 10% short. Across the six retatrutide batches Simms Research has published since October 2025, measured content ran from 1% under the label to 19% over, and the full history sits on the retatrutide lab results page, one row per batch with the original certificate behind each.
A few signs show a certificate is doing less than it appears to. The store’s name is pasted onto a generic template, there is no lab report number to look up, the purity figure has no chromatogram behind it, the test date is more than a year old, or one certificate is reused for every vial size. A step-by-step walkthrough of each field is in the guide on how to read a peptide certificate of analysis.
Spam vendor lists and copycat stores
Search “where to buy retatrutide” and several first-page results look like independent guides and work like advertisements. One is a “where to buy” article on a plastic-surgery reference site, bylined by a self-described research-sourcing specialist, ranking four suppliers with one store at number one. Another sits on a musculoskeletal medicine reference site. Others are pages hosted on Google’s free scripting service. None of these sites has anything else to do with peptides.
They share a format: a medical-sounding domain, a numbered list with “best for” labels and a methodology paragraph. The plastic-surgery page says it ran its own HPLC and LC-MS checks on its top pick, yet publishes no report, lab name or number from that testing, and a line near the end notes the comparison may include affiliate links. A ranking with no published test behind it is a list of names, in whatever order the page’s owner chose.
Copycat stores are the other trap. When a known seller closes, lookalike domains appear with its name, its old product photos and sometimes its old discount codes. Several did after Peptide Sciences shut down, as covered in What Happened to Peptide Sciences?. The tells are consistent: a domain registered weeks ago, payment only in crypto or gift cards, no batch certificates, and retatrutide priced far below every established US store.
Where Apex and Peptide Sciences buyers went
Two of the best-known names in the market stopped selling retatrutide inside a year. Peptide Sciences pulled it, along with its other weight-loss compounds, in the second half of 2025, then closed outright on March 6, 2026. Apex Peptides went dark after federal agents searched its building on September 23, 2026; the details are in what happened to Apex Peptides. Their buyers are now choosing a new store, many of them for the first time in years.
Three things change in a move. The label changes: Apex sold retatrutide as “GLP-1 R”, while most stores, Simms Research included, call it GLP-3. The vial size often changes too, and with it the water volume and the units drawn for the same weekly amount, so the mixing math has to be redone rather than carried over. And the paperwork changes. The simplest comparison is the old store’s last certificate laid next to the new store’s current one, field by field, using the table above.
A closure also shows what a track record is worth. A store with a public batch history going back a year can be checked against its own past; a store that opened last month has nothing to check yet.

How retatrutide should ship and arrive
Freeze-dried retatrutide holds up at room temperature for weeks, so it travels in an ordinary box without ice packs. What matters is what happens after delivery: the sealed vial goes into the fridge at 36 to 46°F (2 to 8°C), dry and out of the light, or into the freezer at −4°F (−20°C) for long-term storage. Once mixed with bacteriostatic water it stays in the fridge and is used within 28 days. The reasoning behind those numbers is in Do Peptides Need to Be Refrigerated?.
Simms Research ships the same day for orders placed before 5PM Eastern on business days, from the United States to all 50 states. Checkout offers UPS Standard, which arrives three to five business days after dispatch, or FedEx 2-Day, which is free on orders over $200. Tracking arrives by email when the package leaves.
Every order carries a free Delivery Guarantee with nothing to add at checkout. A package lost in transit, missing or stolen after the delivery scan, or delivered damaged is replaced at no charge, or refunded with its shipping if a replacement isn’t available, and the buyer never has to file a carrier claim. Damage and wrong items are reported within 48 hours with photos. As at most research stores, sales are final for changes of mind; the full terms are in the refund and return policy. The mixing water ships too: Research Water is bacteriostatic water in 10mL vials.
Why researchers buy retatrutide from Simms Research
Simms Research builds its store around what sits behind the vial: the batch, the lab panel and the measured milligrams, published before an order is placed rather than promised after. Retatrutide (GLP-3) comes in 10mg, 20mg, 30mg and 60mg vials, which covers every weekly amount from the first 2mg weeks to 12mg in a vial that is used up inside the 28-day window.
Every batch goes to an independent lab. The current one was tested across three vials for purity, identity, measured content, endotoxins, heavy metals and sterility, and it passed each. Six batches are on record since October 2025, averaging 99.78% purity, and each row on the lab results page opens the original certificate.
On price, the four sizes sell for $84, $129, $159 and $259. American Peptides lists the same four sizes at $105, $200, $240 and $400, and Kylo Peptides at $89.95, $169.95, $229.95 and $459.95. On the 60mg vial, that is $141 less than American Peptides and $200.95 less than Kylo Peptides, before the Simms multi-vial discount of 10% on three vials or 15% on six.
Orders also earn Simms Rewards: 5 points for every dollar spent on products, plus 100 welcome points on the first order. Points are traded for free vials, and Retatrutide (GLP-3) 10mg is one of them. Same-day dispatch before 5PM Eastern and the free Delivery Guarantee come with every order.
Frequently asked questions
Is retatrutide legal to buy in the US?
Retatrutide has no FDA approval. In the US it is sold by research stores as a compound for laboratory research use only.
Do you need a prescription for retatrutide?
There is no prescription version to ask for. Because retatrutide is not approved, a doctor cannot prescribe it outside a clinical trial, and research stores sell it for laboratory use without one.
Can I get compounded retatrutide?
No legitimate pharmacy makes it. Compounding pharmacies work from approved ingredients, and retatrutide is not one, so anything sold as compounded retatrutide comes from an unknown source under a borrowed name.
How do I qualify for a retatrutide trial?
Eli Lilly’s retatrutide studies are listed on ClinicalTrials.gov, each with its own entry criteria, usually built around body weight and related conditions. Places are limited, screening takes weeks, and the drug is given only through the trial site.
Is retatrutide available for sale in the US?
Yes, as a research compound. US research stores sell it as a freeze-dried powder in vials from 10mg to 60mg. It is not sold in pharmacies.
Can you buy retatrutide on Amazon?
No. Amazon does not sell research peptides. Listings there that borrow names like “GLP” or “reta” are dietary supplements with no retatrutide in them.
Is there a retatrutide pen or pill?
Lilly has not released either. Every retatrutide trial used a once-weekly injection, and research retatrutide is a freeze-dried powder in a vial. Pre-filled “retatrutide pens” sold online are filled by whoever sells them, after any testing of the original powder.
Is reta the same as retatrutide?
Yes. Reta, GLP-3, GLP-3 RT and LY3437943 all name the same compound. What Is GLP-3 (Retatrutide)? explains where each name comes from, and the retatrutide vs tirzepatide comparison covers how it differs from the compound sold as GLP-2.
Can you buy retatrutide already mixed?
Research stores ship it as powder, because mixed retatrutide keeps for only 28 days in the fridge. A pre-mixed vial gives no way to know when it was mixed or at what strength, which makes every measured draw a guess.
Is it cheaper to buy retatrutide from China?
Per milligram, before testing, factory kits cost less than US shelf prices. The buyer then pays for independent testing, at a few hundred dollars per vial tested, and waits several weeks for delivery with the chance of a customs hold.
What is the safest place to buy retatrutide?
A US store that publishes a current certificate for the batch it is selling, with identity by mass spectrometry, measured content and an endotoxin result, ships within days and replaces lost or damaged packages. Simms Research publishes its current batch with every one of those results, and each earlier batch with its original certificate, on its retatrutide lab results page.
